According to the data of January 1, 2023, the rate of female deputies in the parliament is 17 percent in Turkey. Turkey is the third from the last in this field.

According to the OECD's “Government at a Glance-2023” report, Finland and Spain have the highest rate of female ministers with 64 percent among 38 OECD members and additional 4 countries. The OECD average is 36 percent.
Just above Turkey with 6 percent, Czechia with 7 percent and Japan with 8 percent are located just above Turkey.
Half of the 30 European countries on the list rank above the OECD average. Half of the ministers in Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and Colombia are women.
The rate of women ministers is 35 percent in France, 33 percent in the USA and England. The rate of women in Bulgaria, one of Turkey's neighbors, is 16 percent; 11% in Greece.
